A painting crew from Midwest Roofing, Siding and Windows recently completed a job on what is known as the Glaspie home, located on the700 block of South Third Street in Stillwater. Workers put eight different colors on the Queen AnneVictorian, which was built in 1888. Pictured here are homeowner Bill Bentzin(left) and crew leader Aaron Hinton. "It was an awesome project to be onand one we will always remember," Hinton said. According to research done for the city of Stillwater bylocal historian Don Empson: "John Glaspie was a businessman and developerin 1888 when he had contractor Thomas Sutherland build this Queen Anne housewith the most monumental house tower in Stillwater."
